Mega Dice vs Stake: the no-KYC upstart against the licensed original
Stake is the crypto casino most others are measured against: an Active Curaçao licence, 6 in-house originals and a sportsbook, and terms that require verification before withdrawals. Mega Dice, launched in 2023, sells the opposite on its front page: no KYC and an email to sign up, with no licence record behind it.

The short answer. Stake is the licensed, document-checked original; Mega Dice is a newer casino that promises the paperwork away and has no licence record to show. If you want Stake's kind of product without Stake's documents rule, the honest middle ground is a licensed casino that asks late, and two of those are below.
Stake, in one screenshot
The Curaçao Gaming Authority portal showed Stake under licence OGL/2024/1451/0918, held by Medium Rare N.V., with status Active when we read it on 26 August 2026. Its originals are Plinko, Mines, Limbo, Dice, Hilo and Crash, and the lobby lists about 100 studios. Casino and sportsbook share one account.
Documents
Stake writes its rule plainly: withdrawals require identity verification (clause 4.8). It also treats masking your location as a breach of its terms (clause 14.4).
Mega Dice writes nothing. Its front page promises no KYC and an email to register; there is no clause and no licence record, as is Mega Dice legit shows. A strict written rule and an unwritten generous one are both easier to understand than they look: the first tells you exactly what will happen, the second tells you nothing you can rely on.
Originals and games
Both build their own games. Stake's six originals are the template most crypto casinos copy; Mega Dice's dice games carry a provably fair claim, and its lobby adds Hacksaw Gaming slots, live game shows, prediction markets and lootboxes. Stake does not run a house token on Stake.com; Mega Dice runs $DICE, with 15% weekly cashback on net losses.
Sportsbook
Both put a sportsbook in the same account as the casino. Mega Dice adds a sports free bet to its welcome offer. Stake's own offers are not quoted on this site.
Where each operates
Stake.com publishes a list of countries it does not accept, and the United States is on it. Mega Dice's country list was not in anything we captured. Read each casino's own list before you sign up; this site does not tell anyone how to get round one.

Two licensed casinos let us play for a while before asking for anything:
